The Dionne Edit

Effective Date: 04/07/2025

By purchasing a ticket for any event organised by Dionne Smith LTD t/a The Dionne Edit (“we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to the following refund and cancellation terms:

1. No Refunds

All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind
  • Personal circumstances (including illness, travel disruption, or double bookings)
  • Inability to attend the event

2. Event Cancellation or Major Changes

You are entitled to a full refund (excluding any booking or transaction fees) only if:

  • The event is cancelled in full by us
  • There is a material change to the event (e.g., change of date or venue) and you are unable to attend the rescheduled event

Refunds in these cases will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days of notification.

3. Transfer of Tickets

If you can no longer attend, tickets may be transferred to another person. You are responsible for making any such arrangements. We do not facilitate ticket transfers or re-sales.

4. Consumer Rights

Under UK law, tickets for events scheduled on a specific date are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period provided by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (Regulation 28(1)(h)). This means you are not entitled to cancel and receive a refund simply because you change your mind.

5. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for any refunds if the event is disrupted or cancelled due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, acts of God, government restrictions), although we will aim to reschedule or offer alternatives where possible.

Additional Terms for Digital/Virtual Events & Rescheduling

6. Digital/Virtual Events

Tickets or access passes for digital/virtual events (e.g., livestreams, webinars, online performances) are also non-refundable once purchased, unless:

  • The event is cancelled and not rescheduled
  • You experience a technical fault on our side that prevents your access (not including issues with your own device, internet connection, or software)

Once access has been granted or the event link has been delivered, you are deemed to have received the service.

Please ensure you meet any technical requirements specified in the event description before purchasing.

7. Rescheduled Events

If an event is rescheduled, all original tickets remain valid for the new date. In the case of rescheduling:

  • If you can no longer attend, you may request a refund by contacting us within 7 days of being notified of the new date
  • If you do not contact us within this period, your ticket will remain valid for the new date, and no refund will be issued

We reserve the right to change event details (including time, date, or format) when necessary. Material changes will be communicated by email and/or on our official channels.
